FTP and Secure FTP

Getting Started
LAN and WAN FTP access can be enabled from your Stora’s Preferences -> Network Services page. By default, LAN FTP access is enabled.

Manual port forwarding
If your router doesn’t support UPnP, or UPnP is disabled, forwarding of the following ports are necessary for FTP. Port 20(tcp), 21(tcp), 50000(tcp) and 50001(tcp).

LAN access
With LAN access enabled in Preferences, configure your FTP client to connect to the ip address of your Stora over port 21. The Logon Type is normal. The username and password is the same used to login via mystora.com.

Remote FTP access
With Remote FTP access enabled in Preferences, configure your FTP client to connect to the domain name of your Stora over port 21. Your domain name will be your Stora name appended by “.mystora.com”.
For example, if your Stora name is “iluvstora”, your domain will be “iluvstora.mystora.com”. The Logon Type is normal. The username and password is the same used to login via mystora.com.

Secure FTP access

Premium users benefit from being able to secure their FTP connection. The Protocol remains FTP, the encryption(secure) is set to Explicit FTP over TLS/SSH. The Logon Type is normal. The username and password is the same used to login via mystora.com.
